Orly Mirrorball Springtime Skittle

Happy Spring everyone! I hope the weather is as beautiful in your part of the world as it is in mine today. I know it's officially been Spring for awhile but this is the first nail art I've done this year that is perfect for the season. (Fortunately I had the foresight to do this mani before my smashed hand incident) This was my first time using Orly Mirrorball and I thought it went perfectly with the pastel shades. Those featured pastels are the three Maybelline Color Show polishes that I won from Imperfectly Painted's giveaway. Thanks again Stephanie!

For my ring finger I started with a white base - Sinful Colors Snow Me White, I think. Then using tiny shreds of a makeup sponge, I dabbed on six different colors. To speed up the dry time I added some top coat. Then when that was dry I arranged some chevron Nail Vinyls on the nail and painted a thick coat of Orly Mirrorball over it. I quickly removed the vinyls and let dry for a couple minutes before applying a final top coat.

What I used:
Orly Mirrorball- silver holo
Maybelline Color Show in Citrus Collide, Bleached In Peach, Pink Punch, Green With Envy (thumb), Hibiscus Haven (index),  and Lust For Lilac (pinky)
Nail Vinyl chevrons
Seche Vite top coat
